Privacy Policy
Last updated: March 4, 2026
LinkLand ("we", "us", or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our link management platform at linkland.co and all associated services.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Account Information
When you create an account, we collect your email address and authentication credentials. We use Supabase for secure authentication and do not store passwords in plain text.
1.2 Link & QR Code Data
We store the short links, destination URLs, custom short codes, titles, descriptions, and QR code configurations (colors, logos, error correction levels) that you create through our platform.
1.3 Click & Analytics Data
When someone clicks on a LinkLand short link, we collect: IP address (anonymized for aggregation), approximate geographic location (country, region, city), browser type and version, operating system, device type, referring website, and timestamp. This data powers our analytics dashboard.
1.4 File Hosting Data
If you use our file hosting feature, we store uploaded files on our secure infrastructure. File metadata (name, size, type) is retained alongside your link data.
1.5 Event Data
If you create events through our platform, we collect event details (name, date, location, descriptions) and registration information submitted by event attendees.
1.6 Payment Information
Payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers or full payment details on our servers. We retain subscription status, plan type, and billing cycle information.

3. Cookies & Tracking
We use essential cookies to maintain your session and preferences (e.g., dark/light theme). We may also use analytics cookies to understand how our platform is used. You can manage cookie preferences through the consent banner displayed on your first visit.
When a visitor clicks on a LinkLand short link, we use server-side logging (not cookies) to record click analytics. No tracking cookies are placed on the end-user's device during redirection.
4. Data Sharing & Third-Party Services
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with the following service providers:
- Supabase — Database hosting, authentication, and file storage
- Stripe — Payment processing for paid subscriptions
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights, or to prevent fraud or security threats.
5. Geographic Routing & Location Data
Our Smart Routing feature uses IP-based geolocation to direct link visitors to different destinations based on their approximate location. This geolocation data is derived from the visitor's IP address and is not stored as personally identifiable information. Approximate location data (country, region) is retained in aggregate for analytics purposes.
6. Data Retention & Deletion
We retain your account data and link data for as long as your account is active. Click analytics data is retained according to your subscription tier (e.g., 30 days on the Free plan, longer on paid plans).
You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time through the Settings page or by contacting us at support@linkland.co. Upon deletion, all personal data, links, QR codes, uploaded files, and analytics data will be permanently removed within 30 days.
7. Data Security
We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (TLS/SSL), secure authentication through Supabase Auth, row-level security on our database, and secure API key management. However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure.
8. Your Rights (GDPR & Global Privacy)
